The Outdoorsman

The Outdoorsman is located in the North central area of Washington State in the small town of Winthrop. The store was started by Vic Moss in 1976, but was recently acquired by Chris Rider.

Our goal is to make sure you have all of the things you will need to enjoy everything our area has to offer. As well as the information to be successful doing it.
We have everything from hunting,fishing,camping and backpacking equipment to snow shoeing and motorcycle gear.

The winthrop area is full of endless outdoor activities.
We have some of the best trout and steelhead fishing in the state. The hunting is outstanding. Some of the biggest mule deer have been taken from the Winthrop area. You can see moose, elk, whitetail, mule deer, cougar, bear, bobcat, grouse and the list goes on. And if you spend the time you may see many of these animals in the same day.

We are currently obtaining our Federal Firearms License and we will have an Archery dept. Our fishing department is undergoing a reconstruction and we will carry the best brands at the best price around.
